                 Paper 4  Speaking          PART 1        2 minutes (3 minutes for groups of three)
             Part 1 – Interview
             In this first part of the Speaking test, the examiner will ask you questions about topics such as family life, daily routines,
             or how you spend your free time. You will be expected to provide information about yourself and give your opinions.
             Interlocutor: Good morning/afternoon/evening. My name is ………… and this is my colleague ………… .

             First of all, we’d like to know something about you. (to Candidate A) Where are you from?

             Part 2 – Long turn              Candidate A: Trying to win     Candidate B: Spending time outdoors
             In this part of the test you have to speak for 1 minute without interruption. You are asked to compare two colour
             photographs, and to make a further comment about them in response to a task that is read out by the interlocutor.
             Your partner will get a different set of photographs and has to do the same thing. When each of you has finished speaking,
             the other will be invited to comment on the topic of the photographs.
             Interlocutor:      In this part of the test, I’m going to give each of you two photographs. I’d like you to talk about your
                                          photographs on your own for about a minute and also to answer a question about your partner’s photographs.
                                          Candidate A, it's your turn first. Here are your photographs. They show people doing sports.
                                          Candidate A has to look at the photographs on the next page.
                                          Candidate A, I’d like you to compare your photographs and say what you think might be challenging for
                                         these players. All right?

             Candidate A:      (one minute) .........................................
             Interlocutor:      Thank you. Candidate B, which sport do you think is more physically demanding?

             Candidate B:      (approximately 30 seconds) .........................................

             Interlocutor:     Thank you. Now, Candidate B, here are your photographs. They show people spending time outdoors.
                                          Candidate B has to look at the photographs on the next page.
                                          Candidate B, I’d like you to compare the photographs, and say why you think the people might have
                                          chosen these ways of spending time outdoors. All right?
